- 500 ml full fat milk
- 1 tbsp coffee powder
- as per taste Sugar
- 3 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour(can be replaced with 1beaten egg)
- as required (Chocolate & chocolate Wafer roll) for garnishing
Steps to make to make Steamed Coffee Pudding
- Boil the milk and lessen the quantity from 500ml to 350ml by stirring occasionally.
- Add sugar and coffee powder. Mix well. Add the milk powder gradually. No lumps should be formed.
- In a bowl make a slurry of cornflour & water. Mix with the milk.
- Grease a steel tiffin box with little butter. Pour the mixture.
- In a pressure cooker pour water and place a stand. Put the tiffin box on it. Water level should be just upto the middle of the box.
- Cook on high flame and let it have 5-6whistles & then another 10mins on low flame.
- Once done let it cool. Take it out on a plate. Grate chocolates & place wafer rolls for garnishing. Enjoy chilled.
